Yuh is a mobile bank launched in 2021 as a joint venture between Swissquote and PostFinance, combining the everyday current account of PostFinance with the investment capabilities of Swissquote in a single app. The account is free, comes with a Swiss IBAN, and includes a Visa debit card that can be used at home and abroad.
The investment side lets users buy fractions of ETFs and Swiss stocks from as little as CHF 1, and a round-up feature automatically invests the spare change from purchases. Non-Swiss residents with a Swiss address who hold a B or C permit are accepted, provided they are tax-domiciled exclusively in Switzerland. The app works in English and the signup takes a few minutes with a smartphone camera.
