These terms govern your use of Relocation Guide, run by its operator, referred to below as “we”. They apply to everyone who uses the site, whether reading or submitting content. By using Relocation Guide you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Relocation Guide is a directory that ranks and describes websites and services run by others. Star ratings come from visitors, the order and any grades are editorial, and some outbound links are affiliate links, as the Disclaimer explains.

We do not operate the sites we list and have no part in what you buy or sign up for there.

Content you submit

You keep the rights to what you submit. By submitting it you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, translate, reformat, display and distribute it on Relocation Guide and on our sister sites, in any medium and format, including through search engines, for as long as it is published and afterwards for our records.

You confirm that you have the right to submit it, including any photo, logo or document, and you are responsible for its accuracy and legality. Do not submit:

  • content that is misleading, fraudulent or discriminatory
  • content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy
  • personal data of other people without their consent
  • malware, spam, or bulk submissions
  • anything unlawful where you are or where we are

Submitting a site proposes it for a category. We decide whether, where and how it appears, and we may describe it in our own words.

A star rating counts once per visitor. Ratings that look manipulated are discarded.

Everything submitted is reviewed before it is published and may be reviewed again later.

We may decline or remove a submission at any time without giving a reason, and we are under no obligation to publish anything. If you think a decision was wrong, write to us through the contact form.

Content submitted by others and the sites we link to belong to third parties. We do not endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability, offers or practices. Check anything that matters to you before relying on it; the Disclaimer says more.

While using Relocation Guide you agree not to:

  • crawl or scrape at a rate that affects the service, or republish its content as a dataset
  • submit content by script or in bulk, or through someone else's email address or account
  • work around our limits, checks or review
  • use contact details found here for anything other than their stated purpose

The site's own text, design, grades and code are ours. You may link to any page and quote short extracts with a link back. Anything beyond that needs our permission, which you can ask for through the contact form.

Relocation Guide is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or shut down any part of it at any time.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of Relocation Guide, from content submitted by others, or from a site we link to. That includes lost earnings, a missed deal, a failed application and lost data. Liability for intent, gross negligence and personal injury stays as the law provides.

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
