InterNations runs events in most Swiss cities and is one of the faster ways to meet other internationals after arriving. The Zurich and Geneva chapters are among the most active in Europe, with monthly mixers, professional networking evenings and smaller interest-based groups that cover everything from running clubs to language exchanges.

Monthly event costs range from CHF 0 to 50 per event, or around CHF 100 to 150 per year for a membership that covers most events. The platform also carries city-specific practical guides contributed by members. It’s most useful in the first six months when building a social network from scratch, though its membership skews toward expats talking to other expats rather than integration with local Swiss life.
