Newland Chase Switzerland

Newland Chase runs its Swiss work from an office on rue de l’Arquebuse in Geneva and sits inside a global immigration group that lists more than 1,700 professionals working across 190-plus countries. That reach means it handles inbound moves into Switzerland as well as outbound moves to other countries, and it serves both companies and individuals.

On the Swiss side the firm covers the main permit categories: L short-term permits of up to 24 months, B long-term permits, the D visa of up to four months, the 120-day permit, and the G cross-border commuter permit. It also handles student visas, retirement and medical-related residence, business traveller visas, and family applications for spouses, children, parents, and other dependents, for both EU/EFTA and third-country nationals.

The corporate side runs to labour market testing for local contracts, assignment management, immigration compliance and policy work, and support during restructuring and M&A. Staff work in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish, and the team includes a former cantonal migration authority officer alongside people with legal, consulting, corporate, and government backgrounds.
