German Academy Zurich

German Academy Zurich teaches only German and is aimed at people who have moved to Switzerland. Teaching is delivered mainly online and built around private, one-to-one sessions with native German speakers, combined with a self-paced digital platform that students work through between lessons. For those who prefer to study at home, a teacher can come to them. Courses cover the full A1 to C2 range, and scheduling is flexible, including evenings and weekends.

The school prepares students for the telc, Goethe and fide exams that Swiss authorities often ask for in connection with a residence or work permit, and it can provide an enrolment confirmation for those processes. Business German with vocabulary tailored to a particular role or industry is also offered. A free level assessment is available before signing up.
