ILS Basel

ILS Basel is an eduQua certified branch of the International Language School network, with sister schools in Zurich, Bern, St. Gallen, Aarau and online. Its main focus is German, taught across all levels from A1 to C2, but it also runs courses in English, French, Italian and Spanish, with private tuition available in more than 40 languages in total. Group classes are small, usually three to eight people.

German is offered in a wide range of formats so people can fit study around work: super-intensive and intensive courses, afternoon classes, evening groups once or twice a week, Saturday courses, conversation practice and one-to-one private lessons. There are also separate courses for learners aged 50 and over, and online classes for those who cannot attend in person. For exams, the school prepares students for and runs the telc, fide, ÖSD and SDS tests, plus Goethe preparation, along with shorter crash courses.
