Wordculture

Wordculture sits within walking distance of Zurich main station and centres on German, with a long list of other languages alongside it, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Polish and Swiss German. German courses follow the CEFR levels from A1 to C2 and run as standard twice-weekly classes, intensive blocks, conversation groups and private lessons, on site or online, with group sizes capped at six. A free placement test helps new students find the right level.

The school is a testing centre for telc certificates and the fide test, holds telc exams weekly and fide tests monthly, and runs preparation for the naturalisation requirements that come with applying for Swiss citizenship. It also offers some focused courses, including German for nursing and medicine, a free German course for KulturLegi holders, and a free A2 to B1 course for healthcare workers. On-site childcare is available, and the school works as a partner of the City of Zurich.
