CBB-TAX is run by Caroline Bumann from Lutry, and works mainly across the Lake Geneva area, including Lausanne, Geneva, Nyon, and Vevey, with experience in cantons such as Vaud, Geneva, Berne, and Neuchâtel. Bumann previously worked at a Big Four firm and spent time in Sydney and New York before setting up her own practice. The client base is private rather than corporate: expats, foreign executives, cross-border commuters, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals.

The day-to-day work centres on Swiss tax returns and the situations that come with an international life. That includes adjusting withholding tax for days worked abroad, responding to information requests from the tax authorities, lump-sum taxation, real estate and inheritance or gift tax questions, voluntary disclosure of previously undeclared assets, and both Swiss and cross-border social security analysis.
