Harsch

Harsch handles international household moves from three Swiss bases, in Carouge near Geneva, in Lausanne, and in Laufenburg covering the Zurich and Basel area. Belongings travel by road, air or sea, and the company works through the FIDI network, which it describes as an alliance of more than 600 international moving and relocation firms across close to 100 countries. Service is available in English, French and German.

The company also runs furniture storage and secure warehousing, manages customs formalities, and offers a specialised fine art service that covers transport, hanging and installation as well as exhibition and art fair logistics. Harsch holds Swiss customs authorisations as an approved recipient (DA) and approved sender (EA), and handles import, export and transit documentation including CITES paperwork. It has been a FIDI member since 1982 and is also part of IAM.
