International School of Lausanne (ISL)

The International School of Lausanne has operated since 1970 and offers the full IB continuum from Primary Years through to the Diploma, which gives students a consistent pedagogical approach across their schooling rather than switching frameworks mid-career. Its location on a large campus above Lausanne means students have outdoor space alongside strong academic facilities.

ISL serves the international community in the Vaud region, including families working at the many multinationals and international organisations based in the Lausanne area. Instruction is primarily in English with French integrated from early years, which suits families moving from other Anglophone countries who want their children to gain practical French alongside an internationally recognised curriculum.
