Yallo

Yallo is Sunrise's answer to budget-conscious users, launched in 2010 to compete on price without requiring long-term contracts. They run on Sunrise's nationwide fiber and mobile network but strip out the premium branding and pricing. You get internet, mobile, or bundled packages with the flexibility to cancel on a month's notice.

Yallo works well if you're testing a location or moving temporarily and don't want to lock in. Speeds are solid where Sunrise fiber reaches, though in rural areas you'll be on copper like most of Switzerland. Setup is online; you can order, arrange installation, and modify your plan without calling customer service. They're one of the few providers that fully embrace no-contract plans as standard, not an expensive exception.
